COSS has decided to put high quality research papers on its website to make them available to social scientists and researchers. Only the papers meeting international standard of research and published in books and journals at home and abroad and those that have been presented in international conferences will be selected for putting them on website.

Following two papers that have been placed on the website are:

• Pervez Tahir 'Disaster Studies in Pakistan: A Social Science Perspective' presented in the 17^{th Biennial General Conference of Association of Asian Social Science Research Councils (AASSREC) held at Nagoya University, Japan on September 27-30, 2007.}

• Syed Rifaat Hussain 'Responding to Terrorist Threat: Perspectives from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan’. It was originally published in Journal of South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, Vol. XXX, No. 3, Spring 2007. 

• Disaster Studies in Pakistan: A Social Science Perspective
